WASHINGTON, D.C. (November 4, 2025) – The Industry Council for Emergency Response Technologies (iCERT) and INdigital jointly announced the election of INdigital’s Scott Cason to iCERT’s Board of Directors.
Scott Cason, who recently joined INdigital as its Director of Government and Industry Relations, brings a wealth of experience from across the public safety ecosystem. He has served as Executive Director of the Missouri 911 Service Board, Executive Director of Crawford County E-911, and Vice President of Sales & Marketing for a public safety technology company. Scott’s depth of experience in emergency response allows him to understand 9-1-1 from the ground up, from the day-to-day experience of running a local center to the policy and funding challenges of state authorities and the technology solutions delivered by vendors.
INdigital has been a leader in driving 9-1-1 innovation for nearly thirty years, advancing implementation of Next Generation 9-1-1 and providing service continuity solutions that ensure services are maintained when they are needed most. Scott’s breadth of experience in 9-1-1 will support this critical mission by helping states and 9-1-1 centers implement NG9-1-1 services that have reliability and resilience at the core.
“INdigital is a leader in advancing 9-1-1 innovation for the benefit of our communities, and we are happy to welcome Scott as iCERT’s newest Board Director,” said Don Brittingham, iCERT’s interim executive director. “Scott’s broad perspective and the expertise of the entire INdigital team will help iCERT effectively address the ever-changing needs of the emergency response sector.”
“Serving on the iCERT Board is an opportunity to continue advocating for the people and systems that keep our communities safe,” said Scott Cason, INdigital Director of Government and Industry Relations. “Having been on the front lines in a PSAP and worked at the state level, I’ve seen firsthand the real-world pressures our 9-1-1 professionals face and the critical need for technology that actually supports them. INdigital has always focused on building reliable, resilient solutions that meet those needs, not just check boxes on a spec sheet. I’m looking forward to bringing that perspective to iCERT and working collaboratively to help our industry move forward in practical, meaningful ways.”
